
Laura Thomas is a College Station native and the owner/therapist of College Station Active Therapy. She is a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M University, where she majored in kinesiology and completed the undergraduate athletic training program. She became a licensed athletic trainer in 2011, then went on to complete a Master of Science in Athletic Training degree from A&M in 2013. She then accepted a job at James Earl Rudder HS in Bryan, Texas, working with sports teams and providing injury prevention and treatment to student-athletes. In an effort to realize her dream of bringing her skills to the general population, Laura graduated from the massage therapy program at the Institute of Bodywork Studies in Flower Mound, TX in 2016. Laura is also a certified Active Release Techniques® provider and a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist.
She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, the Southwest Athletic Trainers’ Association, and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
